Been drawing things that actually look pretty decent. Just thought I'd update my journal before my deviantart page is forgotten and lost forever, like Atlantis. College is fun so far, I've discovered that I have a latent interest, or more so a perverted love for sculpting. IT IS FUN. Especially with a blindfold on. We were instructed to memorize the face of the person sitting across from us, and sculpt their head with a blindfold on. My sculpture came out looking like a female counterpart of The Riddler with a tumor situated on the brow of her left eye. My Russian drawing professor is fun, except when he's yelling at me, which is almost all the time. I can't quite grasp the concept of proportion when drawing, something that the professor absolutely FUCKING HATES ABOUT ME. My sketches of the human skeleton often become an example of "what-not-to-draw" for the rest of the class, but when he's done showcasing my failure, he pats me on the back and tells me that everything else about it is fine. If only he knew how insignificant the morale boost I get from that "pity pat" is. If I ever get a new scanner, or somehow get mine to work again through the magic of voodoo, I'll probably upload some junk.




I will be shocked and amazed if anyone says their anxious to see some more crap from me.



Also, listening to the collective Mario Kart soundtrack while driving back and forth between college and home is the greatest thing I've ever done.
